Creating a category

Each product should have a category to which it belongs.

A category represents a group of products that have certain characteristics. We will define the categories in accordance with the activity in which our company is engaged and the products it offers.

To create a new category, you need to select "Categories" in the "Catalog" section and click on the "Add" button. It is necessary to add the Category name, default weight, and details, ie. category description. We can also add an image, banner, and subcategories in other tabs. We can activate or deactivate each added category as needed.
