Sales
Sales are a set of interrelated activities that a company undertakes in order to market its own or others' products/services.
The business policy of the company defines the basic and derivative goals. The goals must be designed so that they can be achieved within the set deadlines, but also to provide the company with a competitive position in the market. Sales, as one of the key functions in a company, must also have defined goals that are directly dependent on market trends. Starting from the goals of the company, the basic goal of sales is to realize finished products and services (transformation of goods flows into cash). The realization that the sale achieves should be at a price that will cover all costs and provide a profit.
Goals and objectives of sales
Sales tasks are mainly reduced to:
* IT in order to assess the needs of consumers and plan production capacity
* Formation and proposal of sales policy
* Communicating with consumers, conducting commercial conversations, sending inquiries, offers, and sales contracts
* Realization of concluded contracts, packaging, shipping, transport, and delivery of goods
* Receipt and consideration of complaints about the delivered goods
* Sales promotion, organization of sales channels and methods
* Staff training in sales
* New product sales programming
* Records and analysis of sales
Recording
and analysis of sales made are crucial for timely reactions and changes, if
needed.
